Welcome to Quzey ("we," "us," or "our"). We represent YRT Software, the developer of the Quzey mobile application (the "App").
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience on our App. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit or use our mobile application.
By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the App.
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App or express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services.
Account Data: Email address, password (encrypted), name, and username.
Profile Data: Profile pictures, status messages, and other profile information you choose to provide.
When you access or use the App, our servers automatically collect certain information:
Device Information: Hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (Device ID/Advertising ID), and mobile network information.
Log Data: IP address, access times, pages viewed, app crashes (via Crashlytics), and system activity.
Usage Data: Information about how you use the App, such as features used, time spent in-app, and interaction logs.
To provide the core functionality of Quzey, we request specific permissions. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings, though some features may become unavailable.
Camera: Required for video calls, capturing profile photos, and sharing images/videos in chats.
Microphone: Required for voice calls, video calls, and recording voice messages.
Location (Optional): We only access your location if you explicitly choose to share it via the "Share Location" feature. We do not track your location in the background.
Storage / Photo Gallery: Required to upload media to your profile or chats and to save received media to your device.
Notifications: Required to alert you of incoming calls, messages, and app updates.
We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent. We use the information to:
Provide Services: Facilitate account creation, authentication (via Firebase Auth), and deliver real-time messaging and calling features (via LiveKit).
Improve the App: Identify bugs, analyze usage trends, and improve user experience.
Communicate: Send administrative information, such as security alerts, updates, and support responses.
Ensure Safety: Monitor and prevent fraudulent activity or abuse of the App.
We may share information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work.
Google Firebase: Used for Authentication, Cloud Firestore (Database), Cloud Storage (Media), and Cloud Messaging (Notifications).
LiveKit: Used as the infrastructure for real-time audio and video conferencing. LiveKit processes audio/video data streams to facilitate calls but does not store the content of your calls.
Google Maps Platform: Used to render maps for location sharing features.
Depending on your location, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information:
Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
Right to Correction: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
Right to Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete your account directly within the App settings. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed from our active databases, subject to technical delays or legal retention requirements.
Right to Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on your consent to process your personal information (e.g., location access), you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active.
Chat Media: May be retained in Google Cloud Storage until you delete it or delete your account.
Log Data: Retained for a limited period for analysis purposes and then deleted.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. This includes using SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit and relying on the robust security infrastructure of Google Firebase. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Our servers and third-party service providers (like Google Firebase) may be located in countries outside of your country of residence (e.g., the United States). By using the App, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in these facilities.
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13 years of age. If we learn that personal information from users less than 13 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this privacy policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
